The research and development company was founded in the Technology Development Region in Erzurum Turkey in 2008. We primarily do biotechnological work on small ruminants and livestock. We have accomplished great improvements in the crossbreeding of Romanov Sheep (which is also known as "Lamb Machine"). All our projects are conducted under our facilities.

was first started at University of Ataturk, Collage of Agriculture, Sheep Center in 2004. Following the first year, Res&Dev studies were improved with thanks from 30 sheep breeders in villages of Erzurum, Istanbul Trek Sheep Farm, Genesis Animal Breeding, Erzincan Unluer Sheep Enterprise, Kayseri Sugar Factory, Yozgat Ilci Agricultural Enterprise and Mus Yurt Animal Breeding.

We believe in properity
Romanov is to increase motherliness features in our low prolific traditional sheep, survival rates in new borns, breeding performance in lambs and quality of meet and carcass. Ewes sired by Romanov had a greater (80%) lambing rate at 1 yr. The F1 ewes have a high productivity, whatever the conditions (intensive or extensive) or the reproductive system (one lambing per year or three in 2 years). Male Romanov crosses had the highest dressing percentage and earlier age at slaughter.
